Lockwood Vineyard is a small 20 acre property located 5km North of Young, in the South West Slopes of NSW. Previously the property was a mixed orchard. The first Cab Sav vines were planted in 1996, and since then a number of small blocks have been planted to Shiraz, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauv Blanc, Pino Gris and Temperanillo. In all, about 5000 vines.
Lockwood Wines are available locally at the Hilltops Region Wine Cellar( Young Visitor Information Centre), The Young and Region Farmer's Market (first and third Saturdays 8am-11am) and Donges IGA Supermarket, Young. They are also available online and by mail order ( PO Box 1400, Young, NSW, 2594).
